Setting Up Natsoft to use the ELS Results Display
To use the ELS Results Display with the Natsoft Race Timing System you will need to first set up a Distribution Channel in the Natsoft Software.
Set up a Distribution Chanel:
Open the Natsoft Race Timing System software and select 2-SETUP, 2-TRACK MAINTENANCE
Click the drop down arrow to set the track code.
Click the second tab Distribution under the track code to display the Distribution information
Go down to Link#2-Leadboard, in the TYPE field select "YES" from the drop down.
Type "ELS Results Display"
in the DEVICE Field and set the LISTEN number to 1020
Click Apply-F2 twice to save the information and exit.

Open the Distrobution Channel
To do this open the Natsoft Race Timing Software Select 3-MEETING, 11-RESULT LINKS, 2-RESULT LINK#2-LEADER/SCORE BOARDS
Use the dropdown arrow to select the first race you want to display. (the Distrobution channel will automaticlly change to the active race)
This form needs to remain open for it to Transmitt results, but it may be minamized.

Running the ELS Results Display
You can run the program by selecting it from the START menu. Start => All Programs => Computer Geek NZ => ELS Results Display Or by clicking on the desktop link, if you have created one.
When the display window opens there are a couple of settings that you will need to ensure are correct.
You can do this by clicking the SERVER SETUP button.
There are two fields that need to be set. The Host Computers IP Address. This is the IP Address of the computer running the Distrobution Channel. And the Listen at Port Number field. This is the port number that was put in the LISTEN field in the Distribution Channel settings.
The default for these two values are 192.168.1.1 and 1020 respectively.
Once the values are set, click the CONNECT button to start receiving results from the ELS software.
Click ANNOUNCERS DISPLAY to show the live results.

The ELS Results Display can be run on a number of computers at the same time.
All instances of the software can recieve results from a single Distrobution Channel.
